The device (10) has a reflector (16) and a base (64) that is connected with the reflector over an elastic connection section (60) for fastening the device to a road limit (12). The connection section is formed as a single-piece with a housing (36), which encloses the reflector at an edge side, and with the base. The housing encloses reflector shells of the reflector at its peripheral edges in a dust- and liquid-proof manner. The housing includes edge sections running perpendicular to a reflector surface. The connection section, the base and the housing are made of thermoplastic elastomer.
