The extruder i.e. screw extruder (10), has an extruder screw (12) to which a gear displacement pump with a conveyor wheel (22) and a displacement wheel (32) is connected downstream in a conveying direction. A gear wheel positive-displacement pump has a promotion wheel and a restrictor wheel. An axis (23) of the conveyor wheel is arranged at right-angles to an axis (13) of the extruder screw. An axis (33) of the displacement wheel is arranged in the same direction as the axis (13). The conveying wheel and the displacement wheel are formed as bevel wheels that intermesh with each other. |
