<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking skill determination system capable of correctly determining skills of a user of a kitchen knife. <P>SOLUTION: An acceleration sensor 11 detects an acceleration of a kitchen knife 1. When the change of acceleration of the kitchen knife 1 is irregular, it is determined that the user's kitchen knife skill is poor. When the change of acceleration of the kitchen knife 1 is regular and the change of pressure of the kitchen knife 1 applied to a chopping board 2 is irregular, it is determined that the user's kitchen knife skill is regular. When the change of acceleration of the kitchen knife 1 is regular and the change of pressure of the kitchen knife 1 applied to a chopping board 2 is regular, it is determined that the user's kitchen knife skill is excellent.
