<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prize payout machine which can restrain or prevent a handling error of a prize to be handled when abnormality occurs in dispensing a prize. <P>SOLUTION: A control part 200 of the prize payout machine 2 discriminates whether an error is a "transaction unestablished error" or a "transaction established error" based on detection timing when the error is detected during prize payout processing. For the "transaction unestablished error", the control part 200 lights in red a payout display part 210 provided at a shutter 12 corresponding to a payout unit 8 in which the error has occurred.
