<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can prevent a sound insulation member from being damaged even when an optional sheet feeding unit is attached while the sound insulation member is not detached. <P>SOLUTION: When sound in a printer body is insulated and the optional sheet feeding unit 342 is additionally attached, the sound insulation member 20 to be detached is detachably or attachably attached to a bottom portion of the printer body 2.
