<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the probability of acquiring a desired debug log in control firmware of an information processor, and to improve the efficiency of investigating failures of the firmware. <P>SOLUTION: A device log management module 382 of an MFP 100 sets a condition of outputting a log, timing of saving the log, and a pattern included in the log desired to be saved by using log setting files A1 and A2 corresponding to the function of a log automatic saving object and an acquisition mode set on an operation setting screen by a user. Also, the log during the operation of the firmware corresponding to the set condition is outputted to a RAM area 1040 for the debug log. Further, when the set pattern is included in the log stored in the RAM area 1040 for the debug log at the set timing, the log stored in the RAM 1040 for the debug log is saved in a permanent area in an HDD 208 at the timing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
