<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user's convenience by appropriately and collectively accepting processing settings of object colors whose processing types (dropout processing or emphasis processing) differ. <P>SOLUTION: If object areas A1 and A2 of specified colors corresponding to an activated slider 69a and a deactivated slider 69b overlap (Fig. (a))and the processing types (dropout processing or emphasis processing) differ when an slide operation is performed for the activated slider 69a covering the range of the deactivated slider 69a, the color conversion instruction device changes the border line of the slider 69b to the position corresponding to the slider operation and then changes a border line on the slider 69a side among slider 69b border lines to the position slid tailored to the border line of the slider 69a regardless of the deactivation and displays it (Fig. (c)).
