<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation technology which can prevent fouling of a fixing roller or staining of transfer paper when instructions are given to form an image on the other side of transfer paper with an image already formed on one side thereof. <P>SOLUTION: If instructions are given to form an image on one side of transfer paper with an image not formed on either side thereof, a composite device 1 forms the image and an image indicating backing sheet reuse information on the transfer paper. If instructions are given to form an image on the other side of transfer paper with an image already formed on one side thereof, the composite device 1 images the other side of the transfer paper when the transfer paper is fed thereto, extracts the backing sheet reuse information based on the imaged image, determines whether or not formation of an image on one side of the transfer paper shall be permitted by using the backing sheet reuse information, and if the determination result is negative, ejects the transfer paper without forming an image on one side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
