METHOD FOR PRODUCING ELONGATED DRUG FORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an elongated drug formation for parenteral drug administration.

SOLUTION: There are provided a method and a system for producing an elongated drug formulation suitable for being injected through the skin of a patient without using a needle or a cannula. The drug formulation is produced by compressing a drug granulate in a cavity of a system comprising a roller and a surface, wherein the roller roles over the surface to compress the granulate into the formulation.
