MODULAR SYSTEM FOR SUPPLY BY MAGNETIC FIELD IN ANIMAL TELEMETRY

The present invention relates to a modular system (1) for providing an electronic device (2) with energy via a magnetic field. The electronic device (2) is an implant for laboratory animals, the purpose of which is to measure and send information relating to physiological functions of the animal for subsequent analysis and study. The implantable system has a temporary energy storage module. The system which provides energy via the magnetic field for supplying the implant is accommodated in the cage of the animal and the modularity of said system allows the latter to be applied to animal housings which are as large as desired. The system allows prolonged studies (in which the use of batteries is ruled out) while the animal moves freely in the cage thereof without any type of restriction. The system also allows the animal to be removed from the magnetic field generation area for limited periods of time without losing the functions of the implant owing to a lack of supply.
