PURPOSE: A device for detecting vehicle location using near field communication and a method thereof are provided to transmit an identified location of a vehicle driver to another vehicle driver. CONSTITUTION: A terminal(110) transmits a vehicle location identifying command by a driver's operation. When vehicle location information is received, the terminal displays vehicle location based on location information. When the vehicle location identifying command is received, a wireless communication module(120) measures the distance to the terminal. A computation unit(130) computes location of the driver based on a measured distance. The computation unit transmits the location information based on a computed location of the driver. |
