<p>In a serial communication protocol that is not provided with a framework for collision detection/avoidance, if the same request is transmitted to a plurality of slave apparatuses, a master apparatus that has once transmitted the request to the slave apparatuses cannot transmit the request to another slave apparatus until receiving responses from the slave apparatuses that have received the request. The present invention, by way of an address conversion table which associates an address included in a message transmitted by a PC with a processing method for an I/O module, is capable of transmitting a request to a control apparatus that is connected to a plurality of I/O modules by only transmitting the request once, and can thereby shorten the time necessary for transmission of the request.</p> |
