PURPOSE: An expandable connecting device and a screw conveyor having the same, which prevent the deformation, are provided to prevent damage to a casing by absorbing the deformation of a screw conveyor. CONSTITUTION: An expandable connecting device comprises a casing(2), a rotary shaft(3), a first drive unit(31), an expansion joint device(6), and a dispersion device. The feed hopper is formed on the top of casing. An outlet is formed in one end of the feed hopper. The rotary shaft is pivotally combined inside casing. The screw is formed in the outer circumference of the rotary shaft. The first drive unit is combined in one end of the rotary shaft and generates the rotation power. The expansion joint device is combined in the outside of the casing. The dispersion device comprises the dispersion device installed at the outlet of casing.
