<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device allowing a user to easily perform contact operation. <P>SOLUTION: An input device 100, with a surface cover 111 having an operation surface, receives input operation in which a user traces a specified locus on the operation surface. Bulged portions 111b which are references for input operation are formed on the operation surface, and the input device 100 has a sensor sheet 112 located on the back side of the surface cover 111. The sensor sheet 112 detects the positions on the operation surface traced through the input operation.
