<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tandem system image formation device capable of being further downsized in an arrangement direction of a photoreceptor. <P>SOLUTION: An image formation device includes: a plurality of photoreceptors (photoreceptor drums 52) arranged in parallel; an LED unit 40 that exposes the photoreceptor; a development roller 62 that supplies developer to the photoreceptor; a housing 61 that supports the development roller 62; and a layer thickness regulation blade 64 whose base end 64A is fixed onto the housing 61 and whose free end 64B slidably contacts the development roller 62 to regulate the thickness of developer. A plurality of development units 60 are also provided that are arranged in parallel along the arrangement direction of the plurality of photoreceptors. The layer thickness regulation blade 64 is disposed between the development roller 62 and an optical axis OA of exposure light that exposes the corresponding photoreceptor drums 52 when viewed from the axial direction of the development roller 62. The free end 64B extends from the base end 64A following the movement direction of the peripheral surface of the development roller 62 in a slide-contact part SC with the development roller 62. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
