<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust the amount of a developer to be supplied to a developing member. <P>SOLUTION: A developing device (G) includes: a supply member (R0) supported by a developer container (V), disposed facing a developing member (Ga), and supplying the developing member (Ga) with a developer held on the surface; a thickness regulating member (8) disposed facing the supply member (R0) in the upstream side with respect to a position where the supply member (R0) faces the developing member (Ga) in regard to the rotation direction of the supply member (R0) and regulating the thickness of the developer held on the surface of the supply member (R0); and a supply member (R0) supported movably in the direction of expanding/contracting a gap between the thickness regulating member (8) and the supply member (R0) and adjusting the gap between the thickness regulating member (8) and the supply member (R0). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
