摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an &alpha;-&beta; titanium alloy extruded material excellent in fatigue strength, and a method for producing the &alpha;-&beta; titanium alloy extruded material. <P>SOLUTION: The &alpha;-&beta; titanium alloy extruded material includes, by mass, more than 0.08% and 0.25% or less C and 2.0-8.5% Al and contains, by mass, 2.0 to 10.0% in total of any of 5.0% or less V, 5.0% or less Cr, 2.5% or less Fe, 5.0% or less Mo, 5.0% or less Ni, 5.0% or less Nb, and 5.0% or less Ta, wherein the area rate of a primary &alpha; phase is 5 to 80%; the direction of the major axis of 80% or more of primary &alpha; grains in the primary &alpha; phase is in an angle range of within &plusmn;15&deg; to the direction of extrusion of the titanium alloy extruded material; and the average minor axis of a secondary &alpha; phase is 0.1 &mu;m or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
