<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding gun that reduces the whole length (length in an axial direction) of a motor drive unit. <P>SOLUTION: The welding gun 10 includes a servomotor 30 and an encoder 50 for detecting a rotational angle of a rotor 33 of the servomotor and performs electrically-operated spot welding. In the welding gun, a rotary shaft of the rotor and a rotary shaft 54 of the encoder are arranged so that their axial lines are dislocated to each other, and both rotary shafts are coupled so that the rotation of the rotary shaft of the rotor is transmitted to the rotary shaft of the encoder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
