<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a distance between antennas in a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention estimates a distance between antennas 40 disposed opposite to each other and including differential linear antennas 41 that perform communication using a quasi-electrostatic field, based on an amplification factor calculated by AGC circuits 113 and 123.
