CONTROL DEVICE OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine achieving a good operation feeling by properly setting a target torque in response to a request output of a driver.

SOLUTION: A driver request coefficient KGADRV is calculated in response to an accelerator pedal operation amount AP and an engine rotation speed NE, and the maximum intake amount GAMAX is calculated in response to the atmospheric pressure PA and an intake temperature TA. A basic driver request intake amount GADRVB is calculated by multiplying the difference (GAMAX-GAMIN) between the maximum intake amount GAMAX and the minimum intake amount GAMIN by the driver request coefficient KGADRV. A driver request intake amount GADRV is calculated by adding the basic driver request intake amount GADRVB to the minimum intake amount GAMIN. Driver torque TRQ is calculated on the basis of the driver request intake amount GADRV while taking into account of a retard angle correction amount DIGRTD of ignition timing and an exhaust return rate REGRT.
