<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling inspection port that can be supported directly by a ceiling material and can be installed in the ceiling material. <P>SOLUTION: A cylindrical body 1 to be inserted in a nearly circular opening provided in a ceiling material 5 from below is provided with a side face hole 12 at the part to be inserted in an attic. A projection member 4 is inserted in and engaged with the side face hole from the inside of the cylindrical body. A male screw 11 is formed in the lower part of the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical body and is screwed in a female screw 21a formed in a cylindrical part 21 of an annular frame 2. The annular frame has a flange part 22 at the lower end of the cylindrical part 21, and the cylindrical body and the annular frame are twisted together so that the ceiling material is sandwiched between the projection member and the flange part. Thus the cylindrical body and the annular frame are fixed to the ceiling material.
