<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supply device for a bar-like article, which can be easily and inexpensively manufactured while maintaining a relatively high supply rate of bar-like articles. <P>SOLUTION: The supply device includes: a conveyor unit 10; and a stocker 20 disposed on the upper side of the conveyor unit 10, the stocker storing bar-like articles M in a horizontally laid state so that the longitudinal direction thereof is turned to the width direction of the conveyor unit 10. The stocker 20 is fixed and installed on a support base 13 of the conveyor unit 10 through a longitudinal pair of gate-shaped frames 14. The bottom surface of the stocker 20 is perfectly released, and an article discharge opening which can simultaneously discharge a large number of bar-like articles M is formed therein. A predetermined gap is formed between the article discharge opening of the stocker 20 and a mounting surface of the bar-like articles M in the conveyor unit 10, and the height dimension H of the gap is set to satisfy 1.5h to 1.7h, wherein h is the height of the horizontally laid bar-like article M. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
