A solar power generator (2) having a first photovoltaic module (4) of a first kind, a second photovoltaic module (6) of a second kind different from the first kind, and a positioning mechanism (8) to alternatively move only one of the first photovoltaic module (4) and the second photovoltaic module (6) in a position exposed to sunlight (30, 32). The solar power generator (2) further has heat pipe (20) which connects the photovoltaic modules (4, 6) and a heat generated by the front side (22) of the photovoltaic module (4, 6) exposed to the sunlight (30, 32) is transferred to the other photovoltaic module (30, 32) and the heat is dissipated by the back side (24) of the modules (4, 6). |
