<p>A hinge mechanism is provided with: a stationary cam having on the stationary cam surface thereof first and second fan-shaped protrusions; and a rotation cam having on the rotation cam surface thereof first and second fan-shaped recesses. The hinge mechanism is configured so that, at an engagement position, the first and second fan-shaped protrusions engage with the first and second fan-shaped recesses and, at the same time, an inner peripheral protrusion and an outer peripheral protrusion which are formed on the first and second fan-shaped protrusions of the stationary cam surface engage with an inner peripheral recess and an outer peripheral recess which are formed in the first and second fan-shaped recesses of the rotation cam surface. The hinge mechanism is also configured so that, at a position outside the engagement position, each of rotation-side protrusions formed at a position outside the recesses in the rotation cam surface engages with at least two protrusions formed on the stationary cam surface.</p> |
