The mechanism has top cover and a pair of pivot seat units (32). An upper pivot seat (33) is coupled to lateral ends of top cover and lateral side of frame unit. A sub central pivot portion (342) is connected to main central pivot portion (332) of lower pivot seat (34) in predetermined angle.The resilient arms (343) are engaged removably to subset of engaging grooves (333).The lower pivot seat is rotatable to upper pivot seat so that resilient arms engage respectively to another subset of engaging grooves to adjust the position of top cover of canopy relative to frame unit of infant carrier. An independent claim is included for infant carrier device.
