<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain simple and stable detection of an overcurrent with high frequency caused by abnormality in an electrically-driven controller. <P>SOLUTION: An overcurrent detection device of the present invention includes a first determination circuit that detects overcurrent from a phase current value detected by a phase current detector for every predetermined cycle. The first determination circuit determines whether or not the phase current value exceeds a predetermined amplitude threshold value by detecting a frequency of the phase current value that exceeds the predetermined amplitude threshold value and, when the frequency is detected, determines that overcurrent is flowing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
