<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a cooling mechanism of an electronic apparatus in a simple and small structure with a small number of components, and to prevent a risk of liquid leakage, and to facilitate the application to existing apparatuses. <P>SOLUTION: A heat extraction member 12 is attached to a heat generating part 3 of a server 1, and a flow passage 14 of a coolant C is formed in the heat extraction member 12. An upstream end 16 of the flow passage 14 is connected with a pump 13 through a fluid feeding pipe 17, and a downstream end 18 of the flow passage 14 is connected with an outlet 20 trough a fluid discharging pipe 19. The pump 13 and the outlet 20 are provided on a base 21, and the base 21 is attached to a rear surface 2a of the housing 2 so as to be decomposed. A controller performs the control to drive the pump 13 and stop an existing air cooling fan 4 of the server 1 when the output of a temperature sensor 15 provided at the heat extraction member 12 exceeds a threshold value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
