<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency in various operation states, while reducing a load of a control device, in a variable supercharger and a control method of the variable supercharger for controlling capacity of a variable compressor. <P>SOLUTION: By a control device, a corrected supercharger rotating speed is calculated based on a supercharger rotating speed, the supercharger inlet temperature and the standard temperature, and a corrected suction air flow rate is calculated based on a supercharger inlet flow rate, supercharger inlet pressure and standard pressure. In ordinary deceleration except for engine sudden deceleration, the capacity of the compressor is controlled based on the corrected supercharger rotating speed and the corrected suction air flow rate in response to "an ordinary schedule", and in sudden deceleration of an engine, the capacity of the compressor is controlled based on the corrected supercharger rotating speed and the corrected suction air flow rate in response to "a sudden deceleration schedule", and is controlled in the direction for reducing supercharging pressure more than "the ordinary schedule" in a range of not entering a choke. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
