<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunctional apparatus that is suppressed in upsizing by suppressing an increase of space region required for moving to a maintenance position from an operating position of a functional component in a housing. <P>SOLUTION: A first functional component 51 is configured to be movable by a movement device such that the first functional component is located at a defined maintenance position on the outside of the housing when maintenance is performed on the first functional component, while being located in the operation position defined in the housing 13 of the multifunctional apparatus when operating of the multifunctional apparatus 11. A second functional component 15 is configured to be detachably attached to the housing of the multifunctional apparatus, while being located in the housing 13 of the multifunctional apparatus when operating of the multifunctional apparatus.
