<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting corrosion under heat insulating material that detects in real time the corrosion under heat insulating material in a device covered with the heat insulating material, and in which a sensor is easily attached/detached to/from a device being an inspection object. <P>SOLUTION: The device 10 for detecting corrosion under heat insulating material includes detection means 1 for detecting the corrosion under heat insulating material in a pipe line 20 being a device covered with the heat insulating material. The detection means 1 includes a plate like base 11 that is in contact with the pipe line 20 being the device and fixed to it, a holder 12 attachably/detachably provided to the base 11, an optical fiber Doppler sensor 13 contained in the holder 12 for receiving an acoustic emission emitted from a corroded part of the pipe line 20 being the device, and bolts 14 for attachably/detachably fixing the holder 12 to the base 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
