<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid electric leakage and corrosion of a cell by preventing a portion of an electrode of the end surface of the cell from getting wet. <P>SOLUTION: In a state where a plurality of cells C are arranged so as to align the end surfaces of the cells and both ends of the plurality of cells C are held by a holder 30, a battery for a tool is stored in a battery housing. A plurality of recesses 33 are formed on the holder 30 so as to be engaged with each end of the plurality of cells C, respectively, and a lead plate electrically connected to electrodes P and N formed on the end surfaces of the cell is embedded into the holder 30 so as to be exposed at a bottom position of the recess 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
