<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder in which the OD of black and a color gamut in a dark region are improved by an overlaying achromatic ink and a color ink with a clear ink thereby lowering glossiness in a region where achromatic ink is given. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing method includes a conversion step of performing conversion into ink color data corresponding to respective use amounts of one or more types of color inks and a clear ink based on the input image data. In the conversion step, conversion into ink color data is performed so that the use amount of the clear ink used in the input image data using a black carbon-containing ink becomes equal to or larger than that of the clear ink used in the input image data using no black carbon-containing ink. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
