LOOP HEAT PIPE FOR SOLAR WATER HEATER

Disclosed is a loop heat pipe for a solar water heater, which includes an evaporating section (1), a condensing section (2) and an insulation section (3) arranged between the evaporating section (1) and the condensing section (2). A working medium is provided in the heat pipe shell of the evaporating section (1). The evaporating section (1) is a loop pipe consisting of two pipes which are connected via a bent pipe. The front sections of the two pipes of the evaporating section (1) have narrower structures relative to the middle sections and the rear sections. The two pipes of the front sections of the evaporating section (1) converge at the insulation section (3) through a vapor working medium outlet (6) and a liquid working medium inlet (5). The pipe connected with the vapor working medium outlet (6) is situated above the pipe connected with the liquid working medium inlet (5). The pipe connected with the liquid working medium inlet (5) has a downwardly inclined structure. The loop heat pipe enhances the evaporating and condensing processes of the working medium, increases transfer power at small inclination angles and in horizontal states, and solves the problem of integrated installation of the solar water heater.
