<p>A data processing apparatus for a desktop chessboard game and a data processing method thereof are disclosed. The data processing apparatus includes pieces (4) and a chessboard (1), wherein, a plurality of chess grids (2) are set on the chessboard (1); first storage units (43) which store attribute information of the pieces (4) and first sensing units (44) which send or receive the attribute information in an inductive manner are set in the pieces (4); a second storage unit (13) which stores attribute information of the chess grids (2) and a second sensing unit (14) which sends or receives the attribute information in an inductive manner are set in the chessboard (1); a data processor (7) is set in either the pieces (4) or the chessboard (1); and the pieces (4) or the chessboard (1) acquires the attribute data transmitted by the other part through mutual induction between the first sensing units (44) and the second sensing unit (14) and outputs the attribute data of the other part and the own attribute data to the data processor (7) for processing. The data processing apparatus enables efficient transmission of the data between the pieces (4) and corresponding chess grid (2) of the chessboard (1), and compared with the prior art, has the characteristics of no need for plug operation and data transmission more effectively and rapidly etc.</p> |
