PURPOSE: A current-carrying segment and a cooling method thereof, and an electric apparatus are provided to effectively cool high temperatures region of a conductor by extending a pipe to a longitudinal direction of a shield or housing from around the bottom of the housing. CONSTITUTION: A shield(3) partly accepts a current conductor(2). Housing(4) accepts the shield. A first space(5) between the current conductor and the shield, and a second space(6) between the shield and the housing are filled with insulating fluid. A current-carrying segment(1) comprises one or more pipes(9) for cooling the current conductor. The pipe comprises a first pipe section(1a) having an entrance opening part, and a second pipe section(1b) having an exit opening part.
