1470639 Machines for spreading seed or fertilizer AMAZONEN-WERKE H DREYER 15 Sept 1975 [14 Sept 1974] 37880/75 Heading AID Seed or fertilizer is supplied from a vessel to eight discharge outlets 8 via eight pipelines 7 supplied with air from a blower 3 and supported by main side arms 12 pivoted about longitudinal ones 13 to a central member 2 and also by supplementary side arms 17 pivoted about vertical axes 19 to the main side arms 12, tension springs 22 holding the supplementary side arms 17 both in the laterallyextending operating position and in the transport positions folded alongside the respective side arms 12, by means of an overcentre arrangement. Each pipeline 7 is connected to its own adjustable discharge port 4 in the vessel 1, and the discharge outlets 8 are provided with distributor plates 9. For transport, the supplementary side arms 17 are pivoted rearwardly to position 17' and the main side arms 12 are pivoted upwardly until they lean on the vessel 1. Arms 12 may be locked in this position by bolts (not shown). |
