PURPOSE: A tone wheel structure for a vehicle is provided to determine not only a vehicle speed but also the advance or the backward of a vehicle through a signal transmitted from a vehicle speed sensor. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of protrusions(12) and grooves(11) are alternatively arranged on an outer circumference to a rotational direction of a tone wheel. The tone wheel is installed at a driving shaft of a vehicle transferring a driving force to a vehicle wheel and identically revolves with the driving shaft. The rotational direction and the rotary shaft of the tone wheel are the same as the rotational direction and the rotary shaft of the driving shaft. A plurality of protrusions has a constant step in the rotational direction of the tone wheel around the rotary shaft of the tone wheel. The plurality of protrusions has the same shape. |
