BATTERY CELL OF CURVED SHAPE AND BATTERY PACK EMPLOYED WITH THE SAME

PURPOSE: A battery cell of curved shape is provided to minimize the unnecessary waste of space by tight configuration, in case of being mounted to a device with curved part. CONSTITUTION: A battery cell(100,101) of curved shape comprises an electrode assembly with the laminated structure of positive electrode/separator/negative electrode, mounted to a variable cell case(120) at the state electrolyte is impregnated. Both ends of the electrode assembly face same direction or opposite directions each other on the based on axis direction or vertical direction to the axis. The electrode assembly is bent to form curved shape to form two or more bent parts. The electrode assembly and the cell case are bent together to form S shaped curve on the cross sectional surface of axis direction or vertical direction to the axis.
