<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method or the like of a microcapsule by which aldehydes conventionally used and having high harmfulness are not used and sufficient heat resistance, strength, transparency or the like can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the microcapsule is characterized by using hydrophilic colloid with a carboxyl group as a basic film substance and curing (crosslinking and/or modifying) the basic film substance by an oxazoline group-containing compound in water to form the microcapsule.
