<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing economically a sheet molding compound applicable to a SMC production process with re-using glass fiber recovered from fiber reinforced plastics. <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing a sheet molding compound comprises a process step of recovering fiber from fiber reinforced plastic containing a polymer compound having an ester bond, a process step of kneading the recovered fiber with a polymer precursor containing an ester bond by a roll kneader, and a process step of formulating the kneaded material obtained inthe above process step into a sheet material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
