PURPOSE: An interface method and apparatus thereof are provided to enable a user to select a desired object by outputting a mark which directly recognizes the frequency of usage. CONSTITUTION: An output unit(710) outputs a first screen including an upper object. When a drag input is detected for the object, an output control unit(720) outputs lower objects included in the upper object at a first screen. An interval control unit(730) controls an interval between the lower objects within a first screen according to the length of a dragging motion. When the length of the dragging motion is longer than the threshold value, a control screen(740) outputs a second screen.
