PURPOSE: A free-stop hinge module of a portable terminal is provided to increase the application area of an open surface by closely arranging a main body and a sub body. CONSTITUTION: A first housing(100) is fixed to one end of a main body(701) of a portable terminal. A second housing(200) is fixed to one end of a sub body(702). A spring elastically supports stopper load. A first link(300) and a second link are hinge-coupled at a hinge coupling point. The stopper load elastically supports one end of the first link. The stopper load maintains rotation angle of the second housing.
