PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting fire capable of detecting a current flowing in a sensor is provided to determine a fire occurrence without errors by sensing a current flowing in a sensor for sensing ambient temperatures. CONSTITUTION: A fire detecting apparatus(111) comprises a temperature sensing unit(211), a reference voltage generating unit(221), and a processing unit(231). The temperature sensing unit senses ambient temperatures, changes detected temperatures into a sensing voltage, and outputs the sensing voltage. The reference voltage generating unit operates by receiving a power supply voltage and outputs a reference voltage. The processing unit is connected to the temperature sensing unit and the reference voltage generating unit and determines a fire occurrence by comparing the sensing voltage with the reference voltage. |
