Disclosed is a light emitting module (10) the semiconductor light emitting elements (14) of which emit short wave-length visible light. The plurality of semiconductor light emitting elements (14) are provided in a line on the same flat surface. A light wavelength conversion member (16) converts the wavelength of light that the semiconductor light emitting elements (14) generate, so that white light is emitted. The light wavelength conversion member (16) contains a first phosphor and second phosphor, wherein the wavelength range of wavelength-converted light emitted by each phosphor is different than the excitation wavelength of the other phosphor. The first phosphor is excited by short wavelength visible light and emits yellow light. The second phosphor is excited by short wavelength visible light and emits blue light. The excitation wavelength range of the first phosphor does not include the wavelength range of blue light. The light wavelength conversion member (16) is cured after potting so as to integrally cover the plurality of semiconductor light emitting elements (14). |
