PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for booting a computer system are provided to reduce booting time in order to perform warm booting through a booting file in a DRAM. CONSTITUTION: A non-volatile memory(44) includes capturing partition for storing files which are accessed by a CPU in a capturing mode. An SSD controller(42) copies the file in a volatile memory. After copy is completed, the controller changes a data access path in a data storing device in order for the CPU to access the volatile memory.
