The vehicle (20) has rotatable wheels (22) arranged on a chassis (21) that is moved on the wheels in a direction along an outer circumference of a cylindrical object i.e. rotor, to be inspected, where the vehicle comprises chassis clearance to allow movement of circular obstacles e.g. radial sealing strips (16), which are radially stuck from a cylinder surface, extended in a circumferential direction and provided at the outer circumference of the object. A magnetic device includes a magnet arrangement (17) that is arranged under the chassis in an area of the chassis clearance.
