PURPOSE: A traffic safety system for a crosswalk and a variable lane is provided to prevent an accident by enabling a driver to easily recognize a crosswalk even at a distance. CONSTITUTION: A traffic safety system for a crosswalk and a variable lane comprises a lift member, a drive unit, and a controller(10). The lift member is located at the inside a housing(31) buried in a road and is installed in the horizontal direction of the road. The drive unit transfers driving force from a motor(20) to the lift member and lifts the lift member. The controller controls the drive unit.
