<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a cholesteric liquid crystal medium, having a volume-phase hologram without requiring complicated processes, such as alignment. <P>SOLUTION: After a volume-phase hologram layer 2 is formed on a substrate 1, a cholesteric liquid crystal layer 3 is formed on the volume-phase hologram layer 2. The substrate 1 is detached from the volume-phase hologram layer 2, and an adhesive layer 4 is formed on the substrate-detached surface of the volume-phase hologram layer 2, and a substrate 5 is provided on the adhesive layer 4. Finally, the obtained laminate is die-cut to give a cholesteric liquid crystal medium, having a volume-phase hologram in the form of a label. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
