PURPOSE: A plasma display apparatus and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to seclude electromagnetic interference by interlinking a drive circuit part and a base chassis by using a conductive gasket. CONSTITUTION: A drive circuit part(300) drives a panel. A base chassis(200) mounts the drive circuit part. The panel is attached to one side of the base chassis. A receiver wirelessly receives an external signal. The external signal is an IR(Infrared) signal or an RF(Radio Frequency) signal. A conductive gasket(500) physically interlinks the drive circuit part and the base chassis. A back cover secludes the drive circuit part and a plurality of units connected to the drive circuit part with the base chassis.
