<p>A method for fast passing through services for synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) device is provided by the present invention. The method includes the following steps: a protection switching module compresses first pass-through time slots between adjacent protection ports into the second pass-through time slots; when pass-through operation is triggered, the protection switching module sends the second pass-through time slots to a time slot configuring module to parse them, and the time slot configuring module sending the parsing result to a time slot register to process time slot pass-through. An apparatus for fast passing through services for SDH device is also provided by the present invention. The apparatus includes, the protection switching module, a time slot configuring module and the time slot register. The use of method and apparatus in the present invention, reduces the time for processing pass-through configuration obviously, provides benefits for fast completion of protection switching and enables fast recovery of ring protective network service.</p> |
